The Fourth World is the story of four very special children in a very special school. To the rest of us, it's a mysterious and secret place called Area 51. To them, it's home.
Since the 1940's our governments have been working in secret with an alien race to prepare humanity for a future among the stars. However, all is not as it seems, and the aliens may have a hidden agenda of their own.
These children are: Fintan Reilly, an Irish boy who has spent his life on the run from bullies; Zack Adams, an American boy who suffers from overconfidence; Ayako Katsuragi, a brilliant Japanese girl from a long line of soldiers, and Nizhoni Benally, a smart but tough Navajo girl. The story follows their first year in this school, learning subjects like Cosmic History as well as how to fly a UFO and play out-of-this-world sports like Starball, not to mention taking a field trip to Mars! They'll uncover some of the hidden mysteries of the school, the aliens, and the fate of the World will rest in their hands!
